Cons: Food.

Cons: The food wasn't great, it could have been better. The service at the restaurants wasn't great, you had to be asking multiple times for stuff.

Cons: There were some things that we wished were better. We had a great time dancing Thursday night, but that was it. No other night had any exciting thing to do. We were treated to some nice performances on Friday night, which was Mexico night, so the main area was decorated and vendors had set up shop to sell stuff, and the food was pretty amazing as well, but we still were disappointed that there wasn't another club like atmosphere to enjoy. And speaking of the food, it was spotty at best. Other than the fare that was offered on Mexico night, it was kinda disappointing. We weren't expecting a gourmet experience, but we thought it would be better than it was. The pool areas seemed a little bi-polar. The main area had someone talking on the speaker constantly, with this droll, canned music playing in the background, and the water felt like a bathtub. In contrast, the smaller pool area on the south beach side was to quiet, with no music at all and the water was downright cold. We thought that a little more balance would have been nice. I was charged and international transaction fee by the resort. When I first questioned what this charge was, they told me that it was from my bank. But after talking to my bank today I was notified that it was in fact the resort that facilitated this charge. I will be calling them this afternoon to address this. Overall it was a great weekend.

Cons: Intermitent Wifi and Cable TV, extra charges for additional person.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Cons: There is no privacy in the bathroom.

Cons: Did NOT like the glass bathroom doors. No privacy.

Cons: Food Beds Pillows

Cons: No real complaints, ran out of sunscreen at the resort was like 28 USD seemed a bit much. The hookahs they offer were a bit dated and was not impressed with their quality.

Cons: AC was not strong enough in the main restaurants.

Cons: I would have loved if they had more of the large bed cabanas. They were amazing, but there were only like 6 and so were taken quickly. But honestly, that's not really a complaint because this place was the best.

Cons: The only 1 complaint that I have is although the bed is beautiful it's extremely uncomfortable!

Cons: Sunscreen too expensive

Cons: The food was not always to the highest or consistent standard in all the restaurants compared to the luxurious style of the hotel. The pillows are uncomfortable. One of our rooms needed an upgrade in the bathroom.

Cons: This visit it wasn't too crowded but I've been there in the past where you have to stalk out your place at the pool. We went because we love the place and got a great deal through Kayak I couldn't afford it at regular price. I would love to get notification that Live Aqua wasn't crowded and had a deal going on - I'd be there again in a minute.

Cons: I wish the hotel could’ve accommodated our group of friends and been closers together, because the elevators were sometime slow

Cons: This place would’ve been a solid 3*value with a five star staff but that’ll leave noisy night club next-door ruined it for us

Cons: The food was bad. I kept on trying to give this place 2nd and 3rd chances to see if they had anything good. But I was constantly disappointed. It was edible, but far from good. The nail in the coffin is when we got a taco from the airport and it was better than all the food we had at this hotel. Room felt a little dirty, shower leaked, shower glass door had someone's name scratched into it.

Cons: that I couldn't stay longer

Cons: Staff is pushy to up-sell other products

Cons: The aromatherapy is too strong in some places. Painting going on in the main lobby the day we left - left me with a BIG headache. We had to check out of our room at noon. Planned to grab a quick lunch before leaving but nothing available between 12-1 except room service and a couple of places outside in the 100+ temps.

Cons: Hotel guests start "reserving" lounge chairs by the pool around 7am by leaving towels there; then they don't come back til much later. This is to be expected I guess, not an issue with the hotel itself. Just good to be aware of before you go.

Cons: The air condition works but any time you open any door it shuts off. So, if you are in and out during the day; your room will be cool but not as to what you think will be the best comfort you expect. When you wake in am you will be cold, but during day; not so much.. Keep doors sealed and shut .

Cons: Check in process was very inconvenient and frustrating. Even though checkin time was 3pm we couldnt do check in till 4 pm. As a compensation, my group received free hydrotherapy which was nice. The next day, i had to change the room because finest didnt reserve two rooms next to each other even though i reserved two rooms. I was told that the room will be ready by 2pm but it wasnt ready till 4 pm again! I wasted a lot of time the first 2 days. They seriously need to improve their check in process, besides this, i loved my stay here.

Cons: The Jacuzzi tub in your room can overflow very easily if you fill it too high...beware. They don't serve red bull or any energy drinks on the property. Some restaurants were closed, due to private parties, so you don't always get as many choices as you expect. They ran out of towels in the beach/pool area. Most restaurants are closed between 4-6pm. Dress code in the different restaurants and no reservations allowed is a pain. There was quite a bit of seaweed on the sand due to a lot of wind. There are way too many light switches in the room, it can take 10 minutes just to figure out how to turn them all off at the end of the night.

Cons: No top shelf alcohol choices.

Cons: Restaurants not so great, although buffets very good. In room bathroom water closets with louver on doors was odd. Nobody wants to hear their spouse going to the bathroom. Public rest rooms were very hot in water closets. Water / mini bar replacement did not happen everyday. Our room was not cleaned one day. Spa was ok, but no tour given to explain what other amenities were available in the spa. Massage table sqeeked so loudly, it was interruptive and distracting during the massage. Why you can't convert to US dollars in the lobby is beyond me.

Cons: i was sober. i was polite. yet the bartender on the second to and last day of my stay poured me a mojito with flat soda. beer that was half foam twice. tequila shot with no salt on rim as he did with previous customer. I was 1 of 3 people at the bar. I offended him somehow. all i was was nice and polite to him.

Cons: The food was lacking but that is somewhat understood at a resort.

Cons: 1.The noise. 2. The terribly average food; one person making omelettes and a long line to wait for food. 3. The lack of room bathrobes or slippers. 4. Bellman who do not bring in your luggage or take it to your room. 5 The constant pool party atmosphere. 3. The 3 empty beer bottles sitting in the same place in the stairwell for 4 days. 4. The small exercise room. 5 Staff does not set up umbrellas. 6. I must “exchange” a card token for a beach towel every day. 7. Locals selling EVERYTHING on the property beaches. Despite booking months in advance online getting a 1st floor room and heating everything outside - resort at capacity and no opportunity to move rooms. This is a place for a party - not for relaxation and quiet.

Cons: There was nothing I do not like about this place

Cons: Making reservations for the specialty restaurants several days ahead. We've stayed at Dreams resorts which didn't have this policy. The host just told us how long a wait we might have for a particular restaurant that evening and we came back when it was our turn.
