New York hotels near Collect Pond Park

Cons: I was in a room with construction outside, but it wasn’t too bothersome.

Cons: Brighter lights in room (couldn’t read a book). Business center to allow printing of boarding passes would hav bee nice. Shower head yielded weak stream.

Cons: Getting charged for items I didn't use.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Cons: Phone didn't work. Cable didn't have all channels. One girl says can't do late checkout while another says no problem?

Cons: The room was very small and was not ready for check in when we got there. We were told we would be called on our cell shortly after we got there to inform us the room was ready and we were never called. We were then charged a fee for checking out an hour after check out and was never told a fee was going to be assessed. I found out when I check my credit card statement later that day.

Cons: Rooms a bit cramped but they were fine for short stay

Cons: Charged a $30/day facility fee for access to the gym and common areas of the hotel. Staff refused to remove this from the final folio. Rooms which aren’t classified as a suite are downright uncomfortable to spend time in. While the bed was ok, the desk chair was intolerably uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes. The carpeting was dirty, walls were cracked, and charging outlets for your devices were scarce. The room I selected was a king deluxe.

Cons: 1. My flight was delayed. I called 3 times to tell them, no one every answered. When I arrived at 1:20am they didn't have a room available and now were fully booked even though I had a reservation and was fully paid in advance. The staff repeated multiple times how I was a "No show" and it wasn't there fault. The staff did not offer or help me find another hotel. - I returned on Sunday for the remaining stay. 1. On the 3rd night I asked for a shower towel and they didn't have any and so used hand towels. 2. The room above me would wake me up at all hours of the night with loud banging. I asked to move rooms and the staff was unable as they needed approval and the person wasn't there at that time. I was unable to get it switched.

Cons: We need courtesy water bottles

Cons: Smaller rooms, but I guess this is typical of NYC. I didn't like how the shower was open to the room.

Cons: My complaints are minor. The fact that the food in the lobby is so expensive was a let down. I also didn't like the shower curtains because they kept falling down. My last complaint is that I didn't like the way the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were placed.

Cons: No good place to hang bath towels to dry them so asked to have them changed each day. No magnifying mirror nor place to hang small personal laundry.

Cons: The restaurant attached to the hotel has no affiliation with Sheraton but we didn't like it- they were rude and took advantage of us.

Cons: The hotel just seems outdated. Needs a renovation and the lobby is super dark.

Cons: No fridge in room. Definitely a business feel to hotel, but didn't really make a difference to me. In fact, I chose the Sheraton bc in NYC hotels can vary widely and I found that chain hotels give a good consistent experience no matter the location.

Cons: room did not get cleaned till 6

Cons: If you have to park, it's expensive. We didn't have to use their service as we stayed Saturday night and you can park in NY on Sunday.

Cons: This hotel has an attitude of over pricing everything, adding on fees including tips (that frankly aren't deserved) and having a staff that doesn't do much. When I checked out the man at the desk was flat out lying to the woman he had on the phone and when he hung up I said "Well she's going to be disappointed" and he smiled and laughed. That's what you're going to get here.

Cons: When cleaning the entrance keep the closet room closed and do not leave mop and cleaning stuff unattended in the entrance. The front desks was unorganized. No welcome hello. Overall things did not look well organized. I would exoect the manager to keep an eye on all details. Very basic bedroom decor, no drawers for storage.
