Cons: Just the iPad situation, and that was very minor compared to all the positives. The controls were still functional, so no real problem on my end. Just had to frequently reboot.

Cons: Dirty sheets in the new room. Did not clean our the room the whole day

Cons: since there wasn't any superfluous people like bell boys or concierge desks, I wish I saw a lil more savings and value in the price to stay here.

Cons: If you pay for your breakfasts when you check in you save a couple bucks vs. paying on day of. I can understand that you'd want to have an estimate of how many diners they will be but, come on, this felt a little nickel and dime-y when everything else was so seamless.

Cons: Iron in room. Small gift shop. I was sick and had to walk out in snow to buy medicine.

Cons: Travel conceirage was awful. Whenever I looked for them they are not available . Had to go that counter minimum 4 times from my room to get him. He was always out of his place. Finally when he given me advice it went wrong. I wanted to go to Statue of Liberty and he told me to pick a taxi instead of metro. It cost me 35 dollar in the taxi and driver told me best way was metro and he surprised travel concierGe advised me taxi. He said this people doesn't know anything about outside. Not even a bottle of water complementary. All toiletries are bare minimum and had to ask for certain things.

Cons: Bit overpriced. We have had comparable or better stays, for less money.

Cons: No drinking water available in the room and ice machine was out of order. The coffee in the restaurant tasted like it was burnt.

Cons: Old fashioned blow dryer in a bag. I had to hunt for it (we are used to hotels with I attached to the wall). The sink is too high. I had to stand on tip toes to stand on tip toes to wash my face.

Cons: Wi-fi was terrible. Even after I paid the 14.95 for "high-speed" we had constant connection problems. On my third night the Novotel wireless network didn't even show up on list of available networks and was seemingly down for the remainder of the night. Not as big a deal on a leisure trip, but if I had been there for business I would have been screwed. The sink in the bathroom was poorly designed. Every time I turned on the faucet, water would splash up and out of the bowl and get everything on the counter wet. Had to keep water on lo-flow to avoid this.

Cons: There was a huge crowd for an outdoor party on the nightclub deck. Our room shook all night until about THEEE AM. You couldn't hear the tv in the room and forget sleeping. It was miserable.

Cons: Definitely STAY AWAY from that place!! I came at freezy night, the room temperature was at 76 and didn't go higher. I called operator, he sent "engineer" which couldn't do anything he said that's the highest, i called operator and said it's not acceptable, he said the they can't do nothing the whole hotel is set at this temperature (really??). I said show me another room as u sound now ridiculous. Then the same(!) "engineer" came and.. oh miracle (!) he fixed it. I said all of u guys are such LIARS!! Just made me SO mad and irritated for no reason. Overall: WAY overpriced hotel for the way it is, HORRIBLE "costumer service" from most of the stuff here, no room delivery after 11:30pm (really?!), No parking space, Spent almost $300/night for the room doesn't even have tube. It's not a hotel, it's bullshit!.

Cons: 1. Due to computer glitch, our reservation was "lost", took staff an hour to reinstate it. 2. Refrigerator in the room did not have a single bottle of water. I had to take medication without any water. 3. Ice machine on the floor was broken, no ice whatsoever. 4. Room had coffee machine, but no tea/coffee and water in the room.

Cons: Only one outlet in the room had enough power to charge my phone. It was odd. I tried it with other phones as well, to be sure it wasn't just me. It wasn't. Only one worked. This would have been a problem if I were with others in the room.

Cons: The bathroom lighting is woefully inefficient and of no help for applying makeup. The lighting in the room is not much better, and there are only three small drawers available inside the closet for clothes. The lobby has a sort of a cartoonish modern décor.

Cons: The price was a toich higher than we hoped, but considering that we were able to walk everywhere, the extra $30-$40 was a premium for the location. Parking is only a few doors away and validated so remember to get your parking ticket stamped.

Cons: Even with a hotel stamp, parking lot down the street was still almost $50 overnight. Wish hotel credit would have been worth more.

Cons: The ice machine was broke all 4 days of my stay, after repeatedly telling the staff only to hear we will fix it each time, sucked. One staff said just keep going to the bar with your bucket. Not convenient at all.

Cons: The only thing I questioned (but was not a big deal) was the bathroom was small - couldn't fit 2 people in at once. The shower pressure was too good. Meaning that it hurt the body when the hand held was used. The rain shower was good but if you didn't want to wet your hair, you had to use the hand held which in turn was so powerful that it hurt the body. It didn't bother me that much but it was the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable.

Cons: They were recently reopened post pandemic so some services were less than optimal (cable tv, slow Wate drains in shower). Engineering and Housekeeping were incredibly responsive and kind. Great public area spaces, especially outdoors.

Cons: Just a tip, the block this hotel is on is constantly congested with traffic at Lex and 47th. If you're in a big hurry, book your Uber or get a cab on Lex or 3rd.

Cons: automated elevator system crammed too many people into each trip testing the fire alarm system each day that we stayed very uncomfortable sofa bed mattress (felt every spring)

Cons: Marriott Club overcrowded and poor HVAC. Wine from an automated dispenser. Hotel needs a significant update.

Cons: The hotel is large and is used as a convention facility. So if you do not like large crowds and being in the location that is busy and very active during the evening hours, this is not the place for you.

Cons: The customer service at the view lounge was terrible. The lady that served us did not believe that we enter staying at the hotel and Saud very loud that the room number that we gave her did not exist and I showed her my key. She was very rude we felt embarrased.

Cons: I had to complain about room cleanliness and called that room service had not come on 2 occasions.

Cons: The hotel physical looks need to be updated and maintained. This may upgrade the hotel in general and compete with other hotels in the area.

Cons: Hotel looks like a stale, old bathroom equipment, there is no bar and restaurant in the hotel; standard rooms windows overlook the courtyard, or rather, the windows of another wing of the hotel, the constant noise of ventilation and construction equipment is under the windows. Of the six elevators only two operate in this multistory building. On the day of departure, I was late for the shuttle, since at least 15 minutes wait for the elevator to come down with luggage - only one elevator was operating! Reception explained that the hotel is in the process of reconstruction. But there was not warning about this on the site! Very disappointed!

Cons: The ugly bath tub. Noisy heating system and bad pluming pipes made a awful noise all night . Didn't sleep well and was up early and checked out. This hotel was recommended to my spouse and I.

Cons: I was extremely unsatisfied with the service at the hotel. When I first arrived in my hotel room I found that the bathroom door knob was somewhat broken and the toilet handle was difficult to use making it hard to flush at times. My room was supposed to come with a coffee maker in it and there was not one. I was not upset with that fact but what did upset me was that when I called to have one delivered, I was told that one would be brought up right away. This however was not the case, I called the front desk again about 20 or so minutes later and they apologized and told me one would be sent up. Another 15 minutes went by and I was still kept waiting for the coffee maker. I called the front desk for a third time and they transferred me somewhere in the hotel where I was told that the person that was to bring the coffee went on lunch, considering I called way before noon this was very frustrating. After waiting a whole hour I finally received the coffee machine and to my surprise was just a simple keurig machine that anyone could of brought up to my room. Another issue that I faced here was upon checking out. I had called the front desk an hour and a half before it was time to check out to have them send security to my room because the safe was no longer working and to have them bring my car out of the parking garage, they asked for my ticket number which was to be given to me by the doorman at my arrival, sadly no such ticket was given to me when the doorman took my car.The front desk basically told me there was nothing they could do without the ticket number and sent my call to the doorman for him to assist me. I waited on the line and the phone just continued to ring with no response. I called back to the front desk after a period of time because I was still waiting for security to open the safe and to get the car issue settled and ended up being transferred from person to person and no one was helping me locate my car. It became evident that I would have to go to the front desk to get this handle because nothing was getting handled. At the desk they insisted that I had received a ticket, which was 100 percent false if I had received the ticket I wouldn't have been in the situation I was in. It wasn't until a manager came over and took over and helped my situation by having the doorman go an physically check the lot for my car, and when he returned I was again forced to wait at least another half an hour to get my car which I didn't quite understand why it wasn't taken out of the lot while the doorman was already over there. I really am not one to complain but when I'm paying over 500 dollars to stay at a hotel I'd expect my service to be much better than the way I was treated.

Cons: With its location just hard to compete but, anything beyond that is not remarkable. The hotel old fashioned, we change three rooms and still have not found a room that has hot water which meets our demands. Only after a number of requests thay sent a plumber who fixed the problem. Very suitable for those who want mainly to visit the city and get a good-value because of the location. This huge hotel stay can not offer much more.
