Cons: At the pick up place (Orlando International Airport), the staff didn't show up when s/he was supposed to at 7am and they sent a back up person by 7:40 who wasn't even rushing to get to the desk and kinda apologized by saying "it wasn't under my control". He gave us a "free upgrade" we didn't ask for which was a "smart car" with all the bells and whistles that took more than couple of days for us to figure out even how to turn the fan on and use the side mirrors properly..(and no manual for the car anywhere to be found) then by 3rd day, "parking break temporarily unavailable" sign came on with "break" sign while we were driving on the road. We pulled over, turned off the car and waited for a bit then the car seemed to be fine. We started driving again and after about 30 min., "transmission service required" sign came on. We called the accident report dept. who transferred us to roadside assistance dept. - both of them very nice and trying to be helpful - and the roadside assistance person decided after hearing all the problems with the car that it should be okay for us to continue to drive the car. Started driving for about 20 min. and same problem, we pulled over, now the car wouldn't shut off or allow us to change gears, etc. We called them again and this time, we decided to have the car towed and end service there. The ridiculous part is, this wasn't even a car we signed up for in the first place and it all acted up on its own and the second roadside assistance person said depends on the problem they find from the car, we may be responsible for towing fee. Are you kidding me??? NEVER EVER USING THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!!!
Pros: Car was in excellent condition and met all my needs for the trip.
Cons: Kayak scams it’s customers - reserved a car at the airport and was booked for a car pickup at some hotel miles away from the airport. I had to re-book directly with SIXT and pay an uplift charge.
SIXT should make it clear when you pickup a car that you will be charged a $5 administration fee for EACH toll booth passed!

Cons: Coming from a Hertz Gold...the check in process was clunky. Walked to the garage only to have someone rudely tell me to walk back to the rental desk. Do y'all even offer business travel perks?
Pros: Staff was friendly at pick up. Drop off indicated I needed to shuttle to airport so spent 30 minutes looking for a rental car drop that all along was at the airport. Still made flight on time.
Cons: Clarifying were the drop off was located would have been super helpful. I was not returning car to the same airport I arrived at so it was confusing.
