I got up charged for a midsize SUV then I got a Hyundai Kona. Literally a compact SUV at best. They asked if I wanted an upgrade for $19/day and though they offer “unlimited” miles you cannot leave a certain radius from Southern CA (Vegas is okay). Like….??? Not my first time renting from Payless, but it’s certainly my last.Reviewed 2023 Dec 01

When I arrived at Payless, they told me they could not honor the deal thru priceline/Kayak. They did say they could take what I had already paid and put it towards a better rental. I ended up paying way too much for a Nissian sentra. It appeared when I made my way to the 3rd floor to pickup my car, they had plenty of cars. Not sure if this is just a payless counter scam, but I was certainly ripped off. I may never use Payless again.Reviewed 2023 Dec 01

Overcharging place , I was charged 400 $ for two day, although it was saying when I was booking 86$. I got the not the nicest car, they provided me with nissan which doors are not closing. I hate this place now!!!!!Reviewed 2023 Oct 04
