COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type

Visitors from Israel must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 120 hours before departing to Burkina Faso.

Details and exceptions
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR (nasal swab) test result in English or French. The test must be taken within 5 days before arrival.
Quarantine requirements

Visitors from Israel are not required to quarantine after entering Burkina Faso.

Travelers who do not have a COVID19 test before arrival or those who present symptoms of COVID19 are required to take a rapid COVID19 test at the airport at their own cost and to be detained until the results are back. Those whose test results are positive are required to stay in quarantine until advised.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type

Travelers returning from Burkina Faso must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to Israel.

Details and exceptions
All travelers, including vaccinated individuals, are required to present a negative PCR test taken 72 hours prior to departure to Israel.
Travelers who stayed outside of Israel less than 72 hours and those who recovered from COVID-19 in three months beforehand and no less than 11 days are exempt from presenting a pre-departure test.
All travelers will be required to take a PCR test once they have arrived at the airport.
Quarantine requirements

Visitors returning from Burkina Faso will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Israel.

Details and exceptions
Unvaccinated travelers (regardless of where they come from) and travelers (including vaccinated or individuals who recovered from COVID-19 ) arriving from red countries are required to complete the full isolation period which is 14 days. The isolation period can be reduced if two (2) negative PCR tests are provided: The testing on arrival is considered as the first test and the second can be done on the seventh (7th) day of isolation.
Vaccinated individuals or individuals who recovered from COVID-19 who carry a Ministry of Health-issued COVID certificate and who did not stay in a red destination in the past two weeks before entry to Israel can have the reduced isolation of Israel wherein isolation will only last for 24 hours or upon receiving a negative PCR test result on arrival (whichever is earlier).
