Gibraltar border status

The Government of Gibraltar has specified categories of people who are currently permitted to enter Gibraltar by air – these include registered Gibraltarians, residents of Gibraltar, Spanish nationals and residents in transit to Spain, and those working in Gibraltar.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Visitors from Israel must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Gibraltar.
Exceptions

As an alternative travelers can undergo a COVID-19 test (see www.covidrapidtest.gi) within 24 hours of their arrival.

Travelers remaining in Gibraltar for 5 days after their arrival, must undergo an additional test on Day 5 of their arrival (see www.covidrapidtest.gi to book your test).

Quarantine requirements
Visitors from Israel are not required to quarantine after entering Gibraltar.
Details and exceptions

Travelers required to self-isolate for 5 days and will be swabbed on Day 1 and Day 5.

You must remain self-isolating until the second test is conducted and you are advised that the self-isolation is no longer required. If you are staying in a hotel, you must remain in your room and not use any of the public areas.

Travelers returning from Gibraltar must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to Israel.
Exceptions

All passengers, including protected individual (vaccinated and individual who recovered from COVID-19) must present a PCR test. It must be written in English and the passport number of the tested person must be indicated.

All inbound international passengers must pay for COVID-19 (PCR) tests required for entry to Israel.

Quarantine requirements
Visitors returning from Gibraltar will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Israel.
Details and exceptions

This may be shortened to 10 days upon the completion of two negative coronavirus tests (one upon arrival and one after 9 days of self-isolation).
