Guatemala border status

Guatemala does not permit the entry of travellers who have been in the United Kingdom or South Africa in the 14 days prior to their arrival. This measure is not applicable to Guatemalan nationals, diplomats or foreign nationals who are legal residents in the country.

24 hours before your arrival, you are required to register via the Guatemalan Health Pass website. Once you have submitted your details, you must print the form and bring it with you.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Visitors from Israel must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 96 hours before departing to Guatemala.
Exceptions

Children under the of age 10, travelers with a medical discharge of a COVID-19 infection which occurred at most 3 months before arrival and have a medical certificate issued at least 10 days after being diagnosed, and travelers with a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 if the last dose was administrated at least 2 weeks are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 PCR-RT test result.

Visitors from Israel will need to quarantine for days upon entering Guatemala.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Travelers returning from Guatemala must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to Israel.
Exceptions

All passengers, including protected individual (vaccinated and individual who recovered from COVID-19) must present a PCR test. It must be written in English and the passport number of the tested person must be indicated.

All inbound international passengers must pay for COVID-19 (PCR) tests required for entry to Israel.

Quarantine requirements
Visitors returning from Guatemala will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Israel.
Details and exceptions

This may be shortened to 10 days upon the completion of two negative coronavirus tests (one upon arrival and one after 9 days of self-isolation).
