is permitted for urgent and essential reasons only: Exceptions are in place for essential travel reasons such as:

    work;
    training, studies;
    family reunification;
    to receive medical services;
    transit;
    accompanying a minor;
    return to one’s permanent place of residence;
    attending a funeral.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Visitors from Israel must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Laos.
Exceptions

Children under the age of 6 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test

Quarantine requirements
Visitors from Israel will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering Laos.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Travelers returning from Laos must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to Israel.
Exceptions

All passengers, including protected individual (vaccinated and individual who recovered from COVID-19) must present a PCR test. It must be written in English and the passport number of the tested person must be indicated.

All inbound international passengers must pay for COVID-19 (PCR) tests required for entry to Israel.

Quarantine requirements
Visitors returning from Laos will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Israel.
Details and exceptions

This may be shortened to 10 days upon the completion of two negative coronavirus tests (one upon arrival and one after 9 days of self-isolation).
